Ralph is a sweet and loving mixed breed 3 years old rescued from the Christchurch city council shelter.

Ralph is a large, sweet boy with a heart full of love and affection to share. He’s smart and treat-focused, making him eager to learn and perfect for training. While Ralph is still working on his leash-walking skills, he’s already showing great potential with consistent guidance.

Social Skills: Ralph has previously lived with a female dog and could do well in a similar setup. He may need further assessments if placed with male dogs. He’s non-reactive to other dogs during walks.

Personality: Though a little shy when meeting new people, Ralph quickly warms up and becomes a loyal and affectionate friend.

Ideal Home: Ralph thrives with someone who can continue his training and provide the love and structure he deserves.

Cats: Ralph has been assessed around cats; he has the potential to live with a cat with an experienced owner and dog savvy cat

Children: Ralph could be homed to a family with dog savvy children
