Meet Gunther – Big Heart, Bigger Potential
Gunther is a handsome Labrador cross who has just joined us from the Waimakariri Pound. At around two years old and weighing in at 39kg, he’s a solid boy with a little extra around the middle that will benefit from a steady exercise routine. We’re still getting to know Gunther, but first impressions show a bright, affectionate dog who’s eager to learn and thrive in a loving home.
Gunther is looking for an adopter committed to giving him the structure and activity he needs. Regular walks, play sessions, and some basic training will help him shed those extra kilos and bring out his best. At this stage, we’re still assessing his likes, dislikes, and suitability with other pets, so we’ll share more as we learn.
