Midnight is a black and white Border Collie Whippet cross who has come to us through a private surrender from Middlemarch. He is a bright, energetic boy who enjoys people, kids and other dogs, and loves being involved in family life.
He thrives with a good burst of morning exercise and plenty to keep his mind busy. Midnight is affectionate, cuddly and very responsive to training. He is great on lead in town, has excellent recall and is relaxed travelling in the car. He settles well in his crate and communicates clearly when he needs something.
Midnight has shown interest in chickens and horses in the past, so he may be best suited to a suburban home rather than a lifestyle block. He will do well with owners who enjoy getting outdoors, hiking, camping and giving a clever young dog a meaningful routine. With his drive and enthusiasm, he may even enjoy activities like tracking or search work. Midnight would prefer a home with as much day time company as possible.
