🐾 Meet Marlee Moo 🐾
Marlee is a gentle, affectionate 7-year-old Staffy mix (25kg) who came to Dogwatch through a private surrender. Having spent her life as an outside dog, she has quickly discovered the joy of soft beds, kind hands, and being close to her people and she absolutely loves it. Marlee has become a quiet favourite with the team, a dog who truly values connection and returns affection tenfold.
Marlee has had a difficult start. After being attacked by two dogs earlier in life, she can be understandably cautious in new situations and may take a little time to feel safe. Once she trusts you, her sweet and loyal nature shines through. She enjoys being near her humans and gains confidence from calm, steady companionship.
Marlee previously lived on a property with cats, though she has not yet been formally cat tested at Dogwatch.
Marlee’s ideal home:
• Kind, patient caregivers who can continue building her confidence
• Older, dog-savvy children who understand when she needs space
• Someone home much of the day or not working long hours
• An active home that will include her in daily life and outings
• May live with another calm, older dog pending a careful match
Marlee is a lovely, deserving girl who is learning that the world can be safe and gentle. With the right home, she will blossom into a deeply devoted companion.
