Ray Ray has come to Dogwatch through a private transfer from another shelter, and we are delighted to help him find the loving home he deserves. He is Staffy x American Bulldog and 2.5 years old
This handsome boy is a big dog with an even bigger heart. Considering his background, Ray Ray has proven to be an absolute gem of a dog. He is affectionate, playful, and enjoys spending time with his people.
Ray Ray previously lived in a home where he shared space with another dog and a cat. He was comfortable living alongside the cat, though he may chase if one runs, so this will be further assessed while he is in our care. He has shown that he enjoys the company of other dogs and may do especially well in a home with another playful canine companion.
Ray Ray is an energetic boy who enjoys getting out for adventures. In his previous home he loved daily off-lead walks, exploring and checking back in with good recall. He can be strong on the lead, so some continued lead training will help him polish his walking manners.
In the home, Ray Ray is relaxed and happy to settle near his people. Like many playful dogs he enjoys toys, although soft stuffed toys do not last long with him.
