Ace

🐾 Meet Ace! 🐾

Ace has just arrived into our care from the Christchurch City Council pound and we’re still getting to know this sweet boy 💛 Already, he’s shown us a gentle nature and is starting to settle in as his personality comes through.

At around 4 years old and 22kg, Ace is a lovely medium-sized lad who’s rocking a very charming “Let play” look 🐶 He’s been social with female dogs so far, with more mixing to come as we learn more about his preferences.

Ace has also let us know he enjoys a bit of blanket shredding, so he’ll need some appropriate outlets for that energy and enrichment at home. Like all dogs new to the shelter, he’ll benefit from a calm, structured environment and support as he builds confidence and learns to settle when alone.

✨ What we know so far:
• Medium-sized, approx. 22kg
• Around 4 years old
• Social with female dogs (more assessment ongoing)
• Cat testing still to come
• Loves a bit of shredding, will need enrichment and supervision
• New to us, still learning about him
