Fergie

While we don’t know much about her past, it’s clear Fergie has lost trust in humans along the way. She can be reactive when frightened or overwhelmed, so she is looking for a calm, quiet home with children aged 16 years and over.

Fergie needs a patient and understanding family who can give her the time, love and reassurance she needs to settle in and learn to trust again. Our behaviour team will support her new home during this transition to help set everyone up for success.

She can live with another dog and can also be homed with a cat. Due to needing a slow introduction process and ongoing support from our behaviour team, Fergie is only available for adoption within Christchurch.

Beneath her worries is a beautiful, cuddly girl ready to thrive in the right home.
