Meet Angus
Angus is a handsome young boy who came into our care from the Waimakariri District after his owners never came forward to collect him. We estimate he is around 1 to 2 years old.
Angus is a friendly, people focused dog who loves spending time with his humans and is always keen for attention. He has a lovely nature and is eager to build a strong bond with his new family.
It appears Angus may have had a fairly limited life before arriving at Dogwatch. As a result, he can become a little overexcited on lead and when meeting new dogs. He is still learning how to navigate the world and will benefit from ongoing training, structure, and positive experiences to help build his confidence and manners.
At this stage, we feel Angus would ideally enjoy being the king of the castle. However, with the right match, careful introductions, and ongoing management, he may be able to live with another dog.
Angus is looking for a home with older dog savvy children who can understand and respect his space while he continues to learn and mature.
As Angus is still settling into shelter life, we’re continuing to learn more about his personality and will update his profile as we get to know him better.
