Meet Gizmo
Gizmo is a 6-month-old Border Collie looking for a patient and understanding family. After spending the first part of his life in an environment with very little exposure to everyday experiences, he is still learning that people, new places, and the world around him are safe.
He has been thriving in an experienced foster home where his confidence has been steadily growing through gentle introductions to new people, places, and experiences. His new family will need to continue this journey at his pace.
Gizmo is best suited to an adult home, or one with children aged 13 years and over. He is not yet fully house trained but improving each day, so he will need ongoing guidance, consistency, and positive reinforcement. He would do best in a home where someone is around during the day to help him settle and continue building his confidence.
Gizmo is looking for a cat-free home and could happily live with a confident, well-socialised dog who can help show him the ropes.
We looking for someone who is able to come and build up a relationship through a number of meets with Gizmo so his adoption process will be a slower transition into a new home.
