Meet Lizzy
Lizzy is an approximately 1.5 year old Staffy cross with plenty of sass, a heart full of love and one of the cheesiest grins we have ever seen!
Found wandering in Ashburton, Lizzy came into our care from the pound just 12 days ago and has already made quite an impression. There is no mistaking when this girl is happy to see you. Her toothy smile says it all.
Lizzy loves to play and enjoys a bit of rough and tumble. She has spent time with a couple of our boys and has been good at communicating what she does and does not enjoy. We will continue introducing her to other dogs as we get to know her, but she could suit a home with a well matched canine companion.
Lizzy passed her cat assessment with flying colours. Her relaxed response suggests she may have lived with cats before, so a home with cats could be an option, with careful introductions and time to settle.
She could also suit a family with dog savvy children who are comfortable with a playful young dog still learning her boundaries. Her new family will need to continue her training with patience, consistency and plenty of encouragement.
Full of cuddles, cheeky charm and those wonderful toothy grins, Lizzy is a star in the making.
