Hi! I’m Tyson

When Tyson came to Dogwatch in early 2024, he was a young, energetic boy facing a tough road ahead. He required two major surgeries to repair both of his back legs, and without them, he would have faced a lifetime of pain. But thanks to the kindness of our incredible supporters, the generosity of donors who contributed to his surgeries, and the dedication of his amazing fosterers, Tyson got the care he needed.

Throughout his recovery, Tyson stole hearts everywhere he went. Whether meeting people at fundraising events or charming his foster families with his affectionate nature, he remained as sweet and social as ever. Now, after months of healing, he’s finally where he belongs – living his best life with adopters Ian and Kirsty, who adore him.

Here’s what they have to say about their special boy:

“Tyson is the loveliest little companion. He is full of life and love! He has spent the last year recovering from surgeries but it is obvious he has received the best love and care over that time. We have been lucky enough to come into his life when all the hard work has been done and we are very grateful to all the people that got him to this point.

Tyson absolutely loves getting out and about in the car and his leg strength is improving all the time, so we are doing plenty of exploring on foot too. He is very social and loves to make new friends (both canine and human!), but he is very happy to snuggle on the couch or spend some quiet time alone on one of his many beds. He is an expert sunseeker too. It is amazing how much support he has received, and we hope we can repay it by giving him the happy home he deserves.”
