More about Jazz
Meet Jazz
Jazz is a stunning, 4year 5-month staffy cross rescued from Christchurch City Council Shelter.
A few things to know about me:
Personality: Jazz has undoubtedly wowed our team with her charisma and charm. She is beautifully natured, eager to please, and already has some basic training under her belt. Jazz is a happy, mood-lifting girl and loves human company; she is a delight!
In the home: Jazz was getting a bit depressed being in the shelter environment and we were able to move her into a loving foster home. She absolutely loves being in a home and spends most of her day snoozing on the couch. Her fosterers are full time workers and Jazz is more than happy being home alone providing she’s got somewhere comfy to nap on.
Secure containment is a must for Jazz as she can jump a 6ft fence and has been known to open the odd window (at least she’s smart right?). She is quite happy being a mostly inside dog so this can be easily managed
Training: Jazz is doing ongoing training to work on her lead manners and reactivity to other dogs and has been making fantastic progress.
Social skills: She is suited to being an only-dog as she can be reactive to other dogs, and we do muzzle her in public in case an off-lead dog runs up to her.
Children: Jazz is fantastic with children however she is a big girl and doesn’t always remember her size, so dog-savvy kids are best for her.
Cats: Jazz is not suited to a home with cats or other small animals.
Homing support: Jazz will have a homing plan, and her new family will be supported by our experienced team and behaviour consultants to transition her to her new home
We’d love to see this special girl find her forever home. If you think you can offer Jazz the loving, fun home she deserves, then please complete an adoption application.
