Kuri is a lovely Labrador from Governors Bay who has been well loved in his previous home. He played an important role as an emotional support companion, helping his owner through some very tough times. Wanting more opportunities for him to thrive and grow, Kuri has now come into Dogwatch care to find his next chapter.
Kuri is a lively, confident boy who is full of beans and ready to take on the world with the right guiding hand. He is still learning about life beyond what he has known so far, so he will need an owner who has the time, patience, and commitment to help him experience new situations at a steady pace and build his confidence along the way.
Because of his limited experience so far, Kuri would be best suited to an adult only home where he can have consistent guidance and clear boundaries. He is also still learning his lead manners and has plenty to work on, but in a short time with us he has already started picking up some great new skills and is showing real potential.
Kuri is social with other dogs and could live in a multidog household and just recently passed his cat test so can live with dog savy cats.
Kuri is a wonderful young dog with a big heart and lots to give. With the right home, structure, and ongoing training, he will make a very rewarding companion for someone ready to invest in him.
