Meet lovely Steak
Steak recently came into our care through a private surrender from North Canterbury. This wee boy was struggling alongside his littermates and needed a fresh start where he could receive more individual attention and support.
He is now thriving in a loving, busy foster home with two male dogs and children aged seven and over. Steak is a sensitive, gentle soul who loves being around people and is doing incredibly well.
Steak will need a patient family who can give him time to settle into his new home and build his confidence at his own pace. For his first three months, he must not be left alone for more than five hours at a time.
He would suit a home with other friendly animals and may really benefit from having a confident companion to help him feel secure. His new family will need to continue supporting his socialisation, training and positive experiences as he grows.
Steak is ready for his next step and a loving forever family of his own. Could that be you?
