Tito was originally adopted into a loving home through Dogwatch, but due to a change in his ownerâs living situation, he is now returning to our care. This has been a very difficult decision, and itâs clear how deeply loved he is.
In the home, Tito has proven himself to be an absolute gem. He is incredibly affectionate and thrives on physical closeness, always keen for a cuddle or to be near his people. At the same time, he is able to settle well and will often take himself off to relax in his own space.
Tito is looking for a home where he can truly be part of the family. He is not suited to being an outdoor dog, as he values connection and companionship. He has been used to sharing the couch and even the bed, so will do best in a home that welcomes that closeness.
He is an active, social dog who benefits from daily exercise and engagement. Ideally, his new home will have the time and support to provide regular walks, play, and interaction throughout the day.
Tito is friendly with other dogs and enjoys social outings, though he can become excited and strong on the lead when wanting to greet them. He has shown no aggression and has handled challenging situations appropriately, but will benefit from continued guidance and structure around interactions.
He is great with people and has been lovely with children, however due to his size and enthusiasm, he would be best suited to a home with dog-savvy kids who can be supported around boundaries like jumping and mouthing.
Tito already has a great foundation of training, including cues such as sit, down, come, drop it, and go to bed. He enjoys learning and responds well to engagement and reward-based training.
His current ownerâs biggest wish is that Tito finds a stable, well-resourced home where he wonât be left alone for long periods and can continue to live a full, connected life.
