Market Day Terms and Conditions – 20 November 2021

The vendor fee is non-refundable. If for any reason you change your mind or can no longer attend, or if the event is cancelled, please consider your fee a donation to Dogwatch. The event will be cancelled if we are in COVID Level 3 or 4.

If the weather is bad (rain or very high winds) on the planned date, we may postpone it by one week to Saturday 27 November. We will give you as much notice as possible.

No dogs are permitted at this event. Our Dogwatch dogs will be moving around the event with their handlers, please follow the handler’s instructions around engagement.

You can sell any kind of item – books, second-hand household items, collectables, crafts, food, plants, dog related toys or treats etc – providing its legal and you can bring it with you in your vehicle.

You may arrive at the venue from 8.30am, but no later than 9.30am (late arrivals cannot be permitted on site for health and safety reasons).

You must follow the directions of the Marshalls while your vehicle is on the property.

While driving within the venue, your speed must not exceed 10kph and you must always give pedestrians the right of way.

Please ensure you are parked in your space by 9.45am with your goods displayed by the time the event starts at 10am.

It is entirely your own responsibility to keep your property secure (including any money you bring or make).

You must take everything you brought on site, including unsold items, packaging, rubbish, away with you.

For health and safety reasons, your vehicle must remain in its allocated space, or moved into the parking area by 9.45am and until after the event finishes (2pm). A Marshall will give you the go-ahead to leave.

You must depart the venue by 2.45pm.

COVID Level 2 instructions

Please bring your own face masks, hand sanitiser and cleaner for touch surfaces.

If we are still in COVID Level 2, we will be limited to having a maximum of 100 people on site at our Event, so other than set up and lockdown, if you can manage with only one person manning your stand, we would appreciate this.

Please scan the COVID QR codes for contact tracing (there will be several put up around the event site) or sign in on the COVID Tracer forms that will be at the Dogwatch stand.

Please do not attend if you feel unwell, are sick, or have been in close contact with anyone who is a COVID19 positive case.

Should you be advised by the Ministry of Health you have been in close contact with a COVID19 positive case, you must immediately advise Dogwatch management.

Suggestions

You’re welcome to bring a small gazebo to place over your car (please ensure it’s secured in case the wind gets up and that it doesn’t impact neighbouring vendors).

We recommend you bring your own trestle table, picnic rug and/or groundsheet to display your items on, and a chair to sit on.

You’ll need to bring a cash float in a bag or container so you can give customers change, or a fully charged mobile Eftpos.

Remember to bring a hat and sun block.
