More about Hercules
Meet Hercules
Hercules is a high-energy, toy-focused dog with a deep love for play—especially when it involves a ball. His focus on toys is so strong that it can be challenging to get his attention for anything else. However, since arriving at Dogwatch after being transferred from the CCC Pound in February, he has come out of his shell and shown what a friendly, playful dog he is.
Hercules enjoys interactive activities, particularly search and find it games that engage both his mind and love for toys. He responds well to handling when paired with positive reinforcement, such as food rewards.
He is desexed, healthy, and ready to start his new life.
What Hercules Needs in a Home
- Best suited to a home with older, dog-savvy children (13+)
- Needs an active owner who can provide engaging training and enrichment activities
- Mixes well with female dogs at Dogwatch but would need careful introductions at home
- Would likely do best with a more mature, settled canine companion
Due to his strong toy drive, Hercules is not suitable for a home with young children. He can be intense when playing with tug toys and requires an owner who understands how to manage his focus on toys.
If you are looking for an energetic, toy-loving dog who thrives on activity and engagement, Hercules could be the perfect match.
