Ally

Ally is a beautiful and lively 1-year-old who came to us from the Ashburton District Pound. After a few scary months making her way through the pound system, she’s now here at Dogwatch and starting to come out of her shell.

At first, Ally was understandably a little scared in the shelter environment, but with time and patience, she’s blossomed into a sweet and playful young girl. She’s still learning the ropes and can get a bit too excited at times, but she’s eager to please and full of love. Once you’ve earned a tail wag or started a game of fetch, Ally will be your best friend for life.

Ally is looking for a family where she can be the centre of attention. Confident, dog-savvy children (potentially older) would be best for her, as she’s still learning how to manage her energy. We are currently assessing her suitability to live with cats and other dogs, but she’s already shown great social skills with male dogs and has mixed well with females, though she can be a bit cheeky at times.
