More about Angel
**UPDATE** Applications for Angel are closed as she is on trial in a new home.
Angel is a sweet puppy who just adores human attention. She has all of the playful enthusiasm and energy of a dog her age and is still learning the ropes when it comes to jumping up, basic commands and walking well on the lead. We have been working on all of these things here at the adoption centre, she is learning that she will only get pats if she has all four paws on the ground and we have been using a double lead system to help her get the hang of walking on the lead. This type of training and consistency will need to be continued in her new home so that she continues to learn and excel.
We have mixed her successfully with two mature, desexed males, she loved to play and engage but was respectful and read their signals. She hasn’t been too keen on female dogs while she has been with us but was mixed with a female dog at the pound which went well. Continued sensible socialisation is a must for her new owner.
Angel is both smart and inquisitive and can be creative when she wants to explore the big wide world on the other side of the fence, especially when left alone, so her new home must be geared up to provide plenty of company and secure containment. She is yet to be cat tested but shows a very keen interest in the wild birds out in the exercise areas.
Angel is young and still needs guidance. With a committed owner to steer her in the right direction, she will make the most wonderful best friend and family addition.
