At just 4½ months old, Chop is a bundle of legs, love, and enthusiasm for life! Coming to us from the Waimakariri District Animal Shelter, this boy has truly embraced his second chance and is thriving in foster care.
Lovingly named Chop after arriving with a docked tail, he’s now got a brand-new leash on life — and he’s making the most of it. Chop is a well-rounded pup who’s dog social, cat friendly, and confident around livestock.
While he’s full of energy and affection, Chop can still be a little unsure at times — he’s learning that humans are kind and the world is safe. With a patient and understanding family, he’ll continue to blossom into the loving, confident companion he’s meant to be.
This energetic youngster adores running at full speed, chasing balls, and chomping on his favourite toys. He’s clever, playful, and eager to please — a wonderful mix of fun and sweetness that makes him the perfect companion for an active home.
