** Ferb is now in his new home**
Our handsome Ferbalicious is looking for his forever home, could it be you? If you are looking for a sweet, affectionate dog that’s a bit of a mix of baby Yoda and Dobby than he is the dog for you!
He came into our care from the Ashburton District Council and is a 1 year old Border Collie x. He is the perfect medium sized family dog (he’s around 20kg).
Ferb can be a bit of a charmer and sometimes likes to ‘talk’ to you while you are giving him a cuddle. He is fantastic around people and loves to have human company (he would benefit from some day time company). He has socialised well with female dogs here at the shelter and likes to have a good run around with them.
Ferb is well mannered and walks nicely on the lead. He does need to gain a bit of confidence when walking out in the community but this will just come with time and a patient owner to guide him.
