🐾 Meet Jacob 🐾
Jacob is an almost 5 year old Lab x Greyhound mix… at least that’s our best guess 😄
This handsome boy came into our care from the Waimakariri pound, but it’s clear he has been well loved and cared for in his past life. Jacob has a lovely gentle nature and has quickly shown himself to be a calm, affectionate companion who enjoys being close to his people 💛
Jacob is looking for a calm and loving home where he can truly settle in and feel safe. He is a social boy with other dogs, however he tends to prefer the more chilled, respectful types rather than overly full on playmates.
He walks beautifully on lead, enjoys soaking up the sunshine, and would happily spend his days lounging nearby while his people go about their day ☀️
Jacob would suit a home where people are around often, as he can become distressed when left alone in his yard here at the shelter. We feel he will thrive in a home environment with companionship, routine, and support as he settles in.
