OFFICIALLY ADOPTED!

Say hello to Joey, the 18-month-old Huntaway x Lab mix from the Ashburton District Council Pound. He landed himself in the pound with Chandler (potentially his brother) and it’s now time to find his forever home.

Joey has been an absolute gem during his stay at the shelter, winning over everyone with his delightful personality and affectionate nature. He’s a people-loving pup who enjoys nothing more than showering his human friends with love and cuddles. He was a superstar at the vets too, especially when the yummy treats came out!

He has mixed well with two female dogs here at the shelter. He does love to play but also has the ability to walk calmly with another dog too. We are not sure what he is like with cats or other small animals.
