Major

Meet Major, the handsome 1-year-old Boxer cross from the Ashburton District Council Shelter is ready to find his forever home. Major is a big puppy at heart, known for his affectionate nature and giving delightful face kisses!

While Major may initially be a tad cautious around new people, particularly men, once he deems you a friend, he transforms into a social butterfly.  He has been non-reactive to other dogs at the shelter, loves to say hello and then is happy to go off and do his own thing (he’s not so keen on any full on play yet!). We are not sure what he is like with cats or other small animals.

Major would do best with dog-savvy children who can appreciate his exuberance and youthful nature. He would do best with some daytime company (at least initially to settle him in).
