More about Mr Bingley
Mr Bingley is a stunning young Weimaraner with a soft grey-brown coat and a personality that’s as warm as his colouring. At 28kg and full of energy, he’s an affectionate, clever boy who loves to learn, play, and be close to his people.
Originally from the CCC Animal Management team, Mr Bingley has come a long way and is now looking for a calm, committed home that can give him the companionship and structure he needs. He’s bright and trainable — knowing sit, down, heel, touch, come, bed, and leave it — and absolutely adores food, making him a joy to work with in training.
He’s dog social and enjoys meeting new canine friends, travelling well in the car, and spending time with his favourite humans. His ideal home would have dog-savvy teenagers who can match his playful, excitable energy.
Mr Bingley’s biggest challenge is separation anxiety. After spending time in shelter and pound care, he finds being alone very distressing and will try to escape to find company, even if it means hurting himself. He’s currently on fluoxetine to help manage this, but he’ll need a home where someone is around most of the time and can continue supporting him through gentle, structured training.
He’s housetrained, non-destructive when settled, and sleeps happily on his person’s bed. He enjoys his raw dinners, training treats, and gentle play — and is happiest when he’s part of family life.
Mr Bingley is being rehomed as a private surrender through Dogwatch. He’s 90% the perfect companion — that last 10% just needs patience, understanding, and the right match. In return, he’ll give endless love, loyalty, and laughter. Dogwatch will support you whilst he settles into his forever home with you!
