Originally from the Christchurch City Council Pound, Sage is a gorgeous one year old German Shepherd cross with a big personality packed into a little body. This sweet little pocket rocket is full of life, loves being involved in everything, and is always ready for her next adventure.
Sage is a smart girl who enjoys learning and has settled in well at Dogwatch. She has mixed successfully with other dogs and is a very social youngster. She does have a lively, bouncy play style, so she’ll be best suited to a dog who enjoys a bit of rough and tumble.
She loves getting out for walks and is a great companion, although she can become a little over excited when she spots small fluffy dogs while on lead. With continued training and guidance, she’s already showing great potential.
Sage has passed her cat assessment and could live with a confident cat, provided sensible introductions and ongoing management are in place.
She also adores people and has shown herself to be wonderful with children. She would be well suited to a home with dog savvy kids who understand how to respectfully interact with an energetic young dog.
