Meet Sonny 🐾
Sonny is a 5-month-old pup who has settled beautifully into foster care and is already proving what a sweet, clever little guy he is.
He’s a quick learner with great basics under his belt—sit, drop, come, leave it, and go to bed—and is almost fully toilet trained. He sleeps well overnight in his crate and is getting into a great routine.
Sonny is a sensitive, affectionate boy who loves being near his people but is also happy to entertain himself. He’s been introduced to cats and a rabbit and is learning to be gentle and respectful with guidance.
Like any pup, he has his playful, cheeky moments (and those sharp baby teeth!), but he redirects well and is eager to please. He enjoys enrichment, food puzzles, and a good peanut butter Kong.
Sonny will thrive in a home that can continue his training, provide structure, and give him calm, positive introductions to new experiences. He’s not yet fully vaccinated, so his social outings are still limited for now.

We are currently exploring some concerns around his hips that are being investigated by the vet.
