More about Taffy

Miss Taffy, a 1 year old Staffy x Whippet came into our care 7 weeks ago, accompanied by eleven 1-week-old puppies. She has since been an amazing Mumma and now it’s Taffy’s turn to embark on her journey to find her forever home.
Since her arrival, Taffy has made remarkable progress in gaining confidence, particularly in her interactions with new people. While she may still exhibit some shyness at times, a few tasty treats are all it takes to win her over. Once she considers you a friend, Taffy’s loyalty knows no bounds, eagerly seeking affection and cuddles on your lap.
At just a year old, Taffy exudes playful energy and adores playing with her squeaky toys. She has become besties with a young male dog Solo and loves to chase him around the paddock showing her Whippet side with her amazing speed. We will continue to assess her around other dogs once she recovered from her desexing but we do know that she has lived with other dogs before. Taffy is cat-trainable and could live with a confident cat providing there are slow introductions and good management.
We do know that Taffy has lived with children in her previous home and was great with them.
