**5/07/2023- Tane is now on a settling in and support period with a family**
Meet our handsome boy Tane, a 1 year old Collie x who recently came into our care from the Christchurch City Council Shelter. This boy has been an absolute delight to have in our care and has quickly become a volunteer favourite as he’s a pretty good cuddler.
He has socialised well with a female dog here at the shelter and with other female dogs at the council. He loves to have a good run around with other dogs but is also happy to go away and do his own thing. We have not yet cat tested him (but soon will be) so we are not sure how he is with cats or other small animals.
We believe that Tane could go to a home with dog savvy children. He would do well with a home that could offer him some day time company initially as he is still a young lad and likes company!
