More about Ellie

We are taking expressions of interest for our stunning 9 month old Huntaway x Ellie who recently came into our care from the Selwyn District Council Shelter. She is a sweet girl who has found the shelter environment quite stressful but is starting to settle in and grow in confidence (she has found her huntaway voice).
As she is in heat, we have not been able to do much socialising with other dogs. She has met one older male dog and was a little unsure of him (didn’t quite know how to interact) but we believe this will improve with further socialisation. We do not know what she is like with cats as she has not be cat tested. She is best suited to a calm home with older dog savvy children. Daytime company or minimal hours home alone would be beneficial for her as well.
