Meet our gorgeous sweetheart Kauri, a 7 month old Staffy x who recently came into our care from the Tauranga City Council Shelter. Kauri is an absolute delight who wins over the hearts of everyone she meets. She is super sweet and cuddly but also has cheeky puppy playful side and loves to play football with you.
We have not yet had a chance to socialise Kauri with other dogs at the shelter but we do know that she was fantastic with a range of dogs at the Tauranga Shelter and has been non-reactive to dogs here at our shelter. She has not been cat tested so we are unsure if she is good with cats (although she showed no interest to cats in their cages while at the vets). Kauri is best suited to a home that can offer some daytime company initially (half days at home, doggy day-care etc) as she is still young dog with the ability to build her up to longer hours home alone.
