More about Lottie

**UPDATE 03/06/2023: Lottie has gone on a settling and support period with her new owner, so her applications are now closed**

Meet Lottie, our beautiful 1 year old Heading Dog x who recently came into our care from the Christchurch City Council Shelter. Lottie patiently waited for 2 months at the pound to come into our care which has meant that she has been quite stressed but she is now settling in and her personality is shining through.

She is a very sweet natured girl who shows nothing but excitement when she sees you and she loves to come in close for a cuddle. She does need to gain some confidence in some situations so her new owner must be patient with the her and be committed to ongoing training and socialisation so that she can flourish in the big wide world.

We haven’t had a chance to socialise her here with other dogs but we do know that she socialised well with male dogs at the Christchurch City Council Shelter. . We do not know what she is like with female dogs but she has been non-reactive to all of our dogs here at the shelter. Lottie has not been cat tested so we do not know what she is like with cats or small animals.

She is best suited to a home with some day time company (half days are fine). She could go to a home with calm older dog savvy children. If you are interested in giving Lottie a forever home, please complete an application form here: https://aus02b.sheltermanager.com/service?account=kburt&method=online_form_html&formid=36
