**UPDATE** Roy is on trial with a new family
Rescued from the Christchurch City Pound 23/10/19
Roy is a very sweet, gentle, loving boy who is quickly capturing hearts and becoming a staff and volunteer favourite at the Adoption Centre. Sadly, we suspect that Roy may have been handled harshly in the past and he arrived quite underweight. We are looking forward to seeing him gain condition with plenty of good food and TLC.
As with all new arrivals we are still getting to know Roy as he moves through our assessment process but he has already impressed us with how brilliantly he walks on the lead and his great focus on his handler. We have yet to mix him with other dogs.
